Video Sand Bag How much gravel/sand do I need for my patio?
I am starting on a paver patio that measures 10'x20'. I have learned a lot about how to put the patio in place and watched countless how-to videos, but nothing has helped me figure out how much sand/gravel to purchase. I want to buy it all at once and have it delivered from Lowes. I know I need 4" of gravel & 1" of sand throughout, but the bags are sold in 50 lb bags which doesn't help my novice mind understand how many inches that is. Any advice is appreciated!
you are going to need 2 1/2 yards or 3 1/2 tons of gravel to do you patio at 4" deep with your dimensions and a little over a 1/2 yard of sand. you might want to consider getting your sand/gravel limestone works well also called TB from a quarry or decorative stone company instead of buying it in bags from Lowes...it would be a heck of a lot cheaper!!!!! and they deliver and place it where you want it.
Multi Disc Photo Freeware program with (multi-disk session)?
Hello all out there. I have a ton of photos to back up to disk and I am searching for a good FREEWARE writing program that alows me to do a multi-disk session. By that I mean if I have 70gb of files to back up I dont want to divide them up into 4.7gb files to fit on a dvd. I would rather burn the entire archive W/o dividing them up. Thanks for your help!
I realize I cant fit 70Gb on one disk. I just know there are programs out there that alow you to back up your archive on to multi-disk session. Say you gave one folder with 70gb's send it to the burn list and then all you have to do is insert disks as you go. I just hate dividing all the files up into 4.7gb files for each disk. Kinda difficult to explain but I have used a program like this before just cant remember what one it was.
You are not going to fit 70 gig on a single DVD no matter what you do. They have to be divided, unless you can compress them, or delete stuff down to about 8 gig.
That being said, k3b is an open source software that works for burning CDs/DVD. Altho I have not used it on Windows..it would probably work. I use kubuntu Linux.
Large Pro how to find large files to free up space on macbook pro?
all of a sudden i only have about 30GB of free space on my macbook pro, when just the other day -- i had a good 45-50GB. i'm a graphic designer so i have a lot of large files, but have an external hard drive that i have been keeping them on and i don't recall getting or installing anything of large size recently. is there a way to search by file size? suggestions for reducing file space?
Variable Angle Solve for angle given initial velocity, distance, and height?
For a AP physics lab i have to (using all variables) solve for angle theta as a function of initial velocity (Vi), distance from target (d), and height of target (h).
So far i have gotten as far as..
h/d = tan(theta) + (tan^2(theta) + 1)gd/2Vi
that is as far as i have been able to simplify and solve for theta.
